CB-6001-SR Shingled Roof Exit Kit

• CB-5012-SS/CB-5024-SS The 5" insulated pipe must have 3" flue pipe running through it. It reduces the surface temperature of the pipe as it goes through your roof and ceiling. It keeps the flue gas temperatures nice and hot, which reduces creosote buildup and improves efficiency.
• CB-3024-SS Support brackets hold the 5" insulated pipe in place at the center of the hole.
  
• The boot makes the exit waterproof.
• CB-5028-SS The rain cap prevents water from going down the pipe and acts as a spark arrester.
• CB-5029-SS The trim plate covers the gap between the 5" pipe and 7" hole visible from the inside.
  
• The kit is offered with either 1 x 24" insulated pipe or 2 x 12" insulated pipes.The 2 x 12" pipes allow you to remove a section from the outside to have a lower profile when driving. In this case you will need a flexible rubber pipe plug to plug the pipe while driving or when the stove is not in use.
• The 3" -  5" ( 7.62 cm - 12.7 cm ) adapter covers the gap between the 3" and 5" ( 7.62 cm and 12.7 cm ) pipes.

• 5" pipe either 1 x 24" tall or 2 x 12" tall
• Rain cap 5 1/4" tall, 5 7/8" wide top plate, and 5" wide base
• Trim plate 9" wide, 8" to 10 1/4" tall (good for ceiling angle up to 45 degrees.)
• Support brackets 1" wide and 2" long
• Boot 20” X 24” base plate
• 3" - 5" Adapter 5" wide and 1 1/2" tall

• The 3” ( 7.62 cm ) pipe does not come with this kit.
• The 3” 9 7.62 cm ) pipe goes through the 5” ( 12.7 cm) insulated pipe (like a sleeve).  It does not stop where the 5” ( 12.7 cm ) pipe begins.
• The 5” ( 12.7 cm ) insulated pipe starts 2” ( 5.08 cm ) below your ceiling and goes 1’ ( 30.48 cm ) above the highest point of the roof.  If you need more than 24” ( 60.96 cm ) of insulated pipe you would need to acquire extra sections.
• A flue pipe brace is necessary when the exterior length exceeds 2 feet.
• The 3” ( 7.62 cm ) pipe goes from the top of the stove to the same 1' ( 30.48 cm ) mark above the highest point of the roof where the 5” ( 12.7 cm ) pipe terminates.

Hardware Included for 1 x 24" Pipe Kit:

• 2 x 3/16" x 1"( 2 x 0.47 cm x 2.54 cm ) self drilling screws.
• 6 x 1/8" x 1/2" ( 6 x 0.31 cm x 1.27 cm ) self drilling screws.

Hardware Included for 2 x 12" Pipes Kit:

• 2 x 3/16" x 1" ( 2 x 0.47 cm x 2.54 cm ) self drilling screws.
• 9 x 1/8" x 1/2" ( 9 x 0.31 cm x 1.27 cm ) self drilling screws.

Hardware not Included: 

• Required hardware includes screws for attaching the trim plate to the ceiling, securing the boot to the roof, and mounting support brackets to the roof. To ensure waterproofing, high heat silicon should be applied between the pipe and the boot, as well as between the boot and the roof.
