Do I need insulation in the stove at all times and why?

Identification of pieces
- LB= Left back (Side of stove)
- LF=Left front (Side of stove)
- RB=Right back (Side of stove)
- RF=Right front (Side of stove)
- BL=Back left (Back of stove)
- BR=Back right (Back of stove)
- B1=Bottom left (interchangeable) (Bottom of stove)
- B2=Bottom right (interchangeable) (Bottom of stove)
Order of installation
- The baffles are removed (See link here )
- Old insulation is removed
- The sides get installed first
- The back gets installed second
- the bottom is installed third
- Baffles are installed to keep the new insulation in place
Things to take note of
- LB and RB have bevels at the back to make way for the welds in the back of the stove
- LF and RF have cut out to make way for the diffuser at the front of the stove below the window.
- BL and BR have notches on the corner and the back to make way for the welds on the sides of the vertical channel and the weld at the bottom
- B1 and B2 have bevels at the bottom for the welds found at the bottom of the stove near the vertical channel at the back.
- Once installed, the baffles go in to secure everything in place. Baffles get installed with the holes towards the rear of the stove. The 3 flanges of the baffles go on the back insulation, the side insulation and the channel running from back to front on the top of the stove.
