We are very pleased with our Cubic Mini. Initial burn off of the new paint went smoothly and it heats up beautifully. 3 inch stainless flu is beautiful and the roof penetration package is quite strait forward. I am impressed with the quality and ultimately went with this stove over an American made competitor because a 4 inch flu on such small stoves simply does not make sense to me. Finally, it was a shame to see the Men's team from Canada robbed of the Gold Medal in OT by the USA who were quite clearly out gunned, but Hellebuyck stood on his head. Thanks for a great product!!

We take pride in the quality of our products and we're glad to hear that it shows. Stay warm and happy heating!
Just received, excellent quality.
Can’t wait to use it
I use it since 4 years and was very satisfied. But after 4 years a whole was burned in the stove what makes me to repace it. I do not use it very intense. Very often I start the fire once a day, sometimes twice and burn only 2-3 wooden bruquettes when I fire it. Only when it is -10 degrees celsius or so I burn the stove all day bit this is maybe one week, maybe 2 a year. I'm dissapointed by the life time of the stove.
Hi Els,
Thank you for your review, and for being a long-time customer. We’re happy to hear you were satisfied with the stove for several years, but we’re truly sorry to hear it developed a burn-through issue.
From what you've described, it sounds like you’re using compressed wood briquettes. While these offer great heat output, they also burn hotter than regular firewood. Over time, especially in compact stoves, this can lead to accelerated wear—particularly if air control and burn rates aren't moderated.
The affected part in your case is permanently welded into the stove, we do not suggest altering the stove. And while it can be replaced by a skilled metalworker, it’s a complex process and would need to be done at your own discretion.
We understand your disappointment and truly appreciate your honest feedback. Your experience helps others make more informed decisions, and it helps us continue to improve.
If you’d like to discuss options further or have any questions, we’d be glad to help—please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.
Thank you
Can't say enough nice about this thing..... I installed it in my motorhome and it was very easy to do...... Puts out tons of heat from sticks I find along the river or on the beach.
In 5 minutes I can pick up enough sticks on the beach to brew a pot of coffee on top.
It is a very very well made stove ....brick lined..... Damper works perfect..... Can't find a fault with it.
It was very easy to install, all of the parts are available on their website and it was very easy to do.
