Insulation and Baffle Replacement Guide

Grizzly replacement Insulation Installation Guide

  1. Take the baffles out by loosening the screws. Once they are removed, take out the old insulation inside your stove.
  2. Remove the new insulation out the labeled bags and lay out as seen in the diagram.
  3. Begin by placing LF and RF. They go on the sides completely towards the front. The rectangular cut outs are to make way for the diffuser at the front of the stove.
  4. Install LB and RB with the bevel facing outwards to make way for the welds
  5. Place BL and BR with the 45 degree cut out on the bottom of the stove facing the channel at the middle of the stove.
  6. Place B1 and B2 on the bottom of the stove, the short edge with the bevel should face downwards at the back of the stove
  7. Lock everything in place with the baffles you took out earlier. The baffles rest on the insulation and the channel in the middle. The holes go to the back of the stove. Once in place tighten the screw just enough so it touches the top plate preventing it from moving around.

Baffle Replacement Guide

  1. Remove the baffles by loosening the screws. This will allow the baffles to be pushed up, tilted and dropped down.
  2. Place the new baffles where the old ones were. The holes face towards the back of the stove. The baffles rest on the top edge of the insulation on the sides and back, along with the middle channel running from back to front at the upper portion of the stove.
  3. Once in place tighten the screws just enough so they hit the top plate. This is to keep the baffles and insulation in place to prevent them from moving around. Do not tighten the screw too much.
